Barry & Ruth were married in 1978 and then went to Bible College three weeks later! Since then they have led churches in Manchester, Essex and more recently in Wallasey where they led the Oasis Church Centre, a thriving church and childcare centre.

They joined Jubilee Church in 2003 and moved to Kirkby in September 2006 with a view to starting Jubilee Church Kirkby. They have two children, Daniel who is married to Dawne and Rebekah who is studying at Hope University.

Barry currently works for Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services as a Development Worker and Ruth manages Rainbow Childcare based in Millbrook School, Kirkby.
